Replacing our truck fleet
Last year, we set a goal to begin replacing our
fleet of trucks with electric vehicles. This year,
we have taken the first steps in this process by
hiring an electric truck for a period of time to
gain practical experience in its use. In addition,
we have also developed a project plan that
will ensure a smooth transition, taking into
account both the practical experience and the
infrastructure required to effectively implement
electric trucks into our fleet.
Project plan for the introduction of
electric trucks:

2024: We have hired an electric truck in
order to gain practical experience of its
use in daily operations. At the same time,
we have also started preparation and
excavation work to establish an adequate
charging infrastructure on our site for the
charging of electric trucks.

2025: Charging infrastructure will be
installed, making it possible for electric
trucks to be charged directly on site and
integrated efficiently into our daily logistics.
•
2026: We will purchase our first electric
truck and experience from previous tests
will be applied to optimise its use.
•
2027– and beyond: We will replace
our existing fleet until all trucks are fully
electrified.
By implementing this long-term strategy, we
aim to minimise our carbon emissions while
simultaneously maintaining stable and efficient
operations. At the same time, we can also ensure
that our drivers and employees are ready for the
transition through training and the continuous
adaptation of work processes. This project marks
an important step towards a more innovative
and responsible transportation solution.
