Riisfort ESG report 2023-2024 - Flipbook - Side 28
The sustainable development
goals & ESG
Continuous improvements in our accountability work
At Riisfort, we don't place focus on reaching a final goal,
but on continuous development and on being open to
integrating new initiatives. This is both a legal requirement,
but it is also a matter of common sense in terms of what is
right for our environment and community. In connection
with this, we continue to identify areas in which we can
optimise processes and continue to find opportunities to
reduce our emissions where possible.
Under our areas of action, we work with a number of
defined focus areas which we believe can contribute to both
accountability and internal development by using the SDGs
as a framework tool.
Focus Areas
Employee involvement in donation recipient selection
We want to engage our employees in decision-making
processes in order to generate greater levels of ownership
and understanding. Contributes to SDGs 3 and 8.
Less silo, more understanding
We work to promote cross-functional collaboration and to
reduce silo thinking. Contributes to SDG 3.
Better utilisation of systems
We seek to optimise our systems in order to increase
efficiency and reduce waste. Contributes to SDGs 3 and 8.
