To sum up
Looking back on the year, we are pleased with the many
steps we have taken towards a more responsible future. At
Riisfort, responsibility is not just about the big decisions, but
also the small actions we take every day – together with our
employees, customers and partners. We are excited to see
how, together, we can make a difference.
This year, we took the first important steps towards making
our truck fleet more efficient by switching to electric vehicles.
This is a journey that will require both time and resources,
but we see it as our contribution to a cleaner future. At the
same time, we have also worked to include more recycled
and alternative materials. It's exciting to see this effort taking
shape, even though the demand is still in its early stages.
We have also made an effort to strengthen our sense of
community and create a workplace in which both wellbeing
and health are in focus. Activities such as We Cycle to Work
and our weekly walks in the spring have been a great way
to bring employees closer together – and to do something
good for the environment at the same time. We have racked
up many kilometres together by bike and had lots of great
conversations on our walks. These are small steps, but they
show us how joint initiatives can make a big difference.
We have also updated our Code of Conduct to ensure that
our work and value chain reflect the environmental values
we stand for. It has been an important priority for us to
establish concrete requirements for both ourselves and
our suppliers so that together we can take responsibility
for the environment. Our increased use of certified wood
and greater commitment to responsible forestry is a direct
consequence of this focus, and we are proud to make a
difference for the world's forests.
We understand that the journey towards a more responsible
future has no end. There's still much to learn and many
challenges to address, but we are ready to continue taking
our responsibility. The future requires curiosity, creativity and
a willingness to innovate, and we look forward to meeting
the challenges ahead with an open mind and plenty of
commitment.

who have made it possible for us to take these steps.
