Management
We are pleased to present our ESG Report for the financial
year 2023/24.
At Riisfort, we have a clear goal to take responsibility. We
are continuously working to introduce more products
made from recycled or other alternative materials. This is
an exciting but also a challenging process as we find that
customer demand is still in its early stages.
We have also embarked on a major project to convert our
truck fleet to electric vehicles. This is an important step
towards reducing our carbon footprint, and even though it
requires both time and resources, we are happy to be doing
it.
We are satisfied with the steps we have taken this year and
we are aware that there is still much to learn and improve
upon. Our journey within ESG and responsible business
practice continues, and we look forward to working together
with our customers, suppliers and employees in the work to
come.

We have also worked to strengthen our efforts internally
within the company. This year we have placed focus on
providing our employees with a greater understanding of
ESG so that together we can understand and take ownership
of the changes we will be going through.
At the same time, we have also felt the impact of the new
CSRD legislation that came into force earlier this year. This
has led to an increase in requests from customers for ESG and
carbon data. As a result, we have had to build new systems in
order to deliver data quickly and accurately. This is a
challenge, but also an opportunity for us to strengthen our
role as a responsible and valuable business partner.
