Since our humble beginnings back in 1948, we have been
delivering high quality products to our customers. Our
passion for wood-based products and decorative surfaces
has driven us from the very beginning, and that passion still
burns strong today.
But Riisfort is more than just a company that deals in
surfaces. We are proud to be owned by a foundation that
dedicates funds to research and development every year.
This is one of the ways in which we give back to society and
contribute to our shared future.
Founded by Rasmus Riisfort, we began as a small hardwood
shop in Aarhus C. Here, Rasmus Riisfort strove to deliver the
best service to customers and he would cycle round from
Skolebakken to make sure the products arrived on time.
At Riisfort, we take pride in being a reliable and stable
partner for our customers. We understand that our success is
closely linked to the success of our customers, and this is why
we constantly work to meet their needs and expectations.
As time went on, Riisfort grew larger and our product range
expanded to include materials such as laminate, compact
laminate, melamine, linoleum, Corian, veneered panels,
plywood, MDF, chipboard and more. In 2000, we moved from
our previous address on Ceres Allé to our current address on
Edwin Rahrs Vej in Brabrand. Here, we have created a 12,000
m2 office and warehouse complex that allows us to stock a
wide range of products for our customers.
We're proud of our past, but we're also looking forward. We
are convinced that an increased focus on sustainability will
play a crucial role in our continued efforts to deliver the best
products and the highest level of service to our customers.
