Water
As we are a wholesale company that primarily supplies materials and products for the kitchen, furniture and
interior fittings industries, water consumption plays a relatively minor role in our overall carbon accounts. Our
activities are primarily focused on distribution and sales, meaning that we have relatively low levels of direct
water consumption compared with companies that are more involved in production or consumer-facing
activities.
Although water consumption does not have a significant impact on our carbon emissions, we remain mindful
of how we can optimise our resource usage and continuously look for opportunities to reduce consumption
where possible.

*Note that the water statement does not align with the financial year and instead covers the period 17/04/24
– 15/04/25. Since Riisfort’s business model does not rely on significant or seasonal water use, we assess
that water consumption is stable throughout the year. Using data from a different period is therefore
considered reasonable, since any fluctuations are expected to be minimal.
