Walking Thursdays
Once more this spring, we have run our initiative
called
Walking Thursdays which gives employees the
chance to take an extra 20-minute break to go for
a walk. The aim is both to promote physical activity
and to strengthen the sense of community across
departments. With the ambition to foster new
connections, we encouraged employees to find
walking partners they do not normally work closely
with.
The result has been positive. These informal
conversations and brisk walks have not only
improved mental wellbeing but also helped
strengthen the sense of community and
camaraderie among employees.
Continuing Professional Development
We see continuing professional development as an important part of our efforts to retain and develop skilled
employees. Our employees are the engine room of the company, and we attach high priority to their
professional and personal development to ensure they always have the necessary skills to meet customer
needs and industry demands.
Over the past year, we estimate that each employee has received 10 hours of training on average, with both
men and women having equal access to continuing professional development. The training covers a wide
range of areas, from product knowledge and technical expertise to customer-focused courses and personal
development. We work closely with employees to identify their individual needs and ensure that courses and
training are relevant to their roles and career paths.
At Riisfort, we see education as an investment in the future of both the company and its employees. We
firmly believe that by continuously developing our teams, we not only create a better workplace but also a
stronger foundation for meeting the future challenges of the kitchen, furniture and interiors industry.
