Riisfort Foundation. Through
the foundation, we support
research and initiatives that have
the potential to make a real
difference for public health. In 2025, the foundation granted just under DKK 3.8 million
to research at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital in areas such as cancer,
Parkinson’s disease, type 2 diabetes, multiple sclerosis, brain injuries and cardiovascular
disease. This continues a proud tradition of contributing to important scientific advances.
Alongside donations made via the Riisfort Foundation, Riisfort A/S also supports a
number of charitable causes. This includes regular contributions to initiatives such as
æ
Kn
k Cancer and Danmarks Indsamling, to which we have donated a total of DKK
40,000 over the course of the year. For four years in a row, we have involved our
employees in deciding how to distribute a pot of DKK 25,000 among various
organisations, ranging from social aid organisations to nature conservation initiatives.
Involving employees in the donation process in this way helps to strengthen our internal
sense of community and creates a feeling of shared responsibility. When we decide
together which causes to support, both Riisfort and our employees can play an active
role in making a difference.
We are proud of our work through the Riisfort Foundation and our other donations,
which enable us to contribute to research, health and social causes. It is a core value of
ours to be a company that gives something back to both our local community and to
society as a whole.
This year, we also made donations to:
Red Cross Youth Holiday Camp, which is for children and young people who have a
particular need for a holiday week filled with positive experiences.
Danish Hospital Clowns, which visits hospitals across the country every day to bring joy
to children and young people.
Headspace, which offers free and anonymous counselling across Denmark to young
people aged 12–25 via its many centres around the country and via its online chat
service.
