A Message from
Management
We are pleased to present our ESG report for the 2024/25 financial year.
At Riisfort, we place great value on taking responsibility. We are continuously
working to introduce more products with a stronger environmental focus – for
example, products made from natural, recycled or other alternative materials. This
is an exciting process but not without its challenges, as we find that customer
demand is still at an early stage.
We have also launched a major project to convert our lorry fleet to electric
vehicles. This is an important step towards reducing our climate footprint, and
although it will take both time and resources, we are pleased to have begun the
journey.
Within the company, we have also worked to strengthen our internal efforts. We
continually strive to give our employees a greater understanding of ESG, so that
together we can grasp and take ownership of the changes we are implementing.
We regularly receive enquiries from customers requesting ESG and emissions
data, and in response we have established systems that can provide this
information both quickly and accurately. This reinforces our role as a responsible
and valuable partner.

Once again this year, we are satisfied with the steps we have taken, fully aware
that there is still much to learn and improve upon. We are motivated by a desire
to run a responsible business, and we look forward to continuing our work
together with our customers, suppliers and employees.
