Riisfort – Your Partner
in Decorative Surfaces
Ever since our beginnings in 1948, we have been delivering high-quality products to our
customers. It is our passion for wood-based products and decorative surfaces that has
driven us from day one, and that passion still burns just as strongly today.
Founded by Rasmus Riisfort, we began as a small hardwood business in Aarhus. From
there, Rasmus worked tirelessly to give customers the best possible service, cycling out
from Skolebakken to ensure that products were delivered on time.
As time went on, Riisfort grew larger and our product range expanded. Today, it also
includes materials such as laminate, compact laminate, melamine, linoleum, Corian,
veneered boards, plywood, MDF, chipboard and more. In 2000, we moved from our

Here, we have created a 12,000 sqm office and warehouse complex, enabling us to
stock a wide range of products for our customers.
But Riisfort is much more than just a company that trades in surfaces. We are proud to
be owned by a foundation that dedicates funds each year to research and teaching
within the medical sciences. This is one of the ways in which we give back to society
and contribute to our shared future.
