Riisfort ESG-report 2024-2025 - Flipbook - Page 9
Employees
Our employees are vital to our existence and to our ability to develop as a company. We prioritise initiatives
that help create a workplace where people thrive, feel comfortable and have opportunities to develop.
At the same time, we believe it is important that everyone understands how their work contributes to
achieving our shared goals. It is important to us that our employees are engaged in the company’s future
and proud to help create the positive changes we are working towards.
In this ESG report, we share some concrete examples of how we seek to bring these values to life in our
day-to-day work. This include initiatives such as We Cycle to Work and Walking Thursdays in the spring,
where we encourage employees to chat with colleagues from other departments. We believe that small
initiatives make a difference – both for employees and for the company as a whole.
Suppliers
We work closely with our suppliers, as we know that the majority of our emissions originate from within our
supply chain (Scope 3). We therefore prefer to source from suppliers in Europe who are subject to EU
legislation. This provides us with additional assurance that the materials we resell meet the requirements for
both safety and quality.
In addition, we are constantly looking for new materials that have a lower environmental impact, so that we
can improve our product range. This is a key focus area for us, both now and in the future. In the following
section (see Products), we provide an insight into some of the materials already included in our range of
options which incorporate recyclable materials in their production for a lower environmental footprint.
Through these approaches, we aim to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with our key
stakeholders, so that together we can work towards a more efficient and focused development of our
business and the processes of which we form a part.
